My name is Conrad Thoen.

My name is Conrad. I am 16 years old and in the 10th grade at Chaska High School. I am the Treasurer of this group. I have light brown hair and hazel eyes. My disabilities are: Fragile X, PDD NOS, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and Non-Verbal Learning Disability (visual processing disorder).

Some of my interests are croquet, weight training, biking, writing songs, and collecting CD's. I love 80's music. Some of my favorite bands are: U2, Prince, The Cars, and Cherrelle.

I want to be a part of the Children's Mental Health Advisory Group because I want to help other kids and make sure there are good laws made for kids with mental health. I would like to inform teachers and parents about what it’s like to have my kind of disabilities. It is important for me to do this so they can understand what its like to have these disabilities so they can give me the appropriate accommodations I need in school. I also like being with the kids in this group because it’s nice to hear their stories and they are fun to be with.
